About

Rewant (रेवन्त) is a product manager, founder, creative technologist, and experience designer who likes to explore the imaginative use of emerging technologies and how it augments, interacts, impacts human lives. He is a graduate of NYU Shanghai's Interactive Media Arts program with a focus on human-centered design and human-computer interaction. He grew up in Lucknow (India), currently based in New Delhi, and has previously lived in Shenzhen, Shanghai, Berlin, and New York City. 

Rewant is a Business Experience Designer/ Product Manager at Deloitte Digital Studio building platform and products from 0-1 and at scale that leverage edge computing using IoT, DevOps, Services, FE and QE. He leads discovery for critical platform product, working closely with the leadership, design, engineering and other external product teams and technology vendors

Rewant has also been a Product Design Lead for Vihara where he is working on Game of Choice, not Chance – A Direct-to-Consumer Serious Game platform, in partnership with USAID, in designing a low bandwidth, low-literacy, scenario-based interactive video game that delivers family planning and reproductive health knowledge to young boys. He has previously worked on Couple Engage, a family planning project funded by Bill & Melinda Gate Foundation, as a service designer creating prototypes for the digital interventions to engage men as partners in Family Planning in the UP and Bihar region in India. He was also involved in AccelerateAbility, a disability innovation pre-accelerator lab that supports early-stage startups to design contextual, usable, and affordable interventions for PwD.

Previously he has been Product Manager of Emerging Technologies for CP Group in China, where he developed immersive solutions using mixed reality, virtual reality, IoT, and artificial intelligence. He was the in-house innovation consultant for CP Group's various conglomerate companies to help them explore the efficient use of emerging technology to drive revenue and experiences.

Rewant has a huge interest in the role and application of new and emerging technologies on social impact and sustainability, and particularly interested in assistive tech focusing on mental health.
